Heidiland Summer Events

In the summer of 2026, Walenstadt will be transformed into a very special venue: the open-air musical with mountain views will take place right on the idyllic shores of Lake Walen. Chaplin – the Musical will run from June 10 to July 25, 2026.

Wednesday to Saturday, starting at 7:45 p.m.
The afternoon performance on Sunday, June 21, 2026, begins at 1:30 p.m.

Bad Ragaz will be a stage location for the Tour de Suisse for the fourth time in 2026. The new race format will ensure more interaction and cycling for all spectators. Experience professional cyclists such as Tadej Pogačar up close in Bad Ragaz and feel the electrifying race atmosphere. The Tour de Suisse will take place from June 17 to 21, 2026. Bad Ragaz will be the stage location on day 3.

The Freudenberg Castle Ruins will once again come alive on June 19 and 20, 2026. This open-air festival above Bad Ragaz has become a hidden gem and surprises audiences every year with an impressive lineup. In the summer of 2026, acts including Gentleman, The Rasmus, and Clawfinger will take the stage above Bad Ragaz.

The impressive classic cars are rolling through Heidiland again. The tour starts in Bad Ragaz, from where participants set off on a two-day trip through some of Switzerland's most beautiful regions. The route takes them through vineyards, over famous Alpine passes, and through high Alpine valleys. Everything from charming modern classics to stylish old-timers with character will be at the starting line. Those who take part in this event love cars with history – and you can hear that as soon as the engines start. The event will take place from June 25 to 28, 2026.

For fans of Swiss pop music, the Flumserberg Open Air is a must-attend event on the calendar. In the summer of 2026, the lineup—featuring Trauffer and many other stars of the scene—is sure to make the mountains shake. The program is rounded out by a Warm Up Party, the legendary Edelwyss Party, and Family Day with Linard Bardill and a Schwiizergoofe workshop. The Flumserberg Open Air will take place from July 30 to August 1, 2026.
