White cooperage Gmür

Experience traditional craftsmanship: Wooden milking buckets & butter churns - made with tools over 100 years old. Guided tours on request.
How is a wooden milking bucket made?
Visit one of the oldest white cooperages in Switzerland and experience traditional craftsmanship at first hand. In Dieter Gmür's workshop, milking buckets, butter churns and churns are still carefully crafted by hand from selected wood - just like in the old days. They even use tools that are over 100 years old.
Dieter Gmür is passionate about continuing his grandfather's craft and will be happy to give you an insight into his work. Guided tours are available on request.
