Murgsee hut
The Murgseehütte retains its original, rustic character and is nestled amid the impressive mountain scenery of the Murg Lakes. As a popular destination for day-trippers, hikers, and nature lovers, it offers an authentic mountain hut atmosphere in the heart of a unique Alpine landscape.
If you’d like to enjoy the mountains for longer, you can spend the night right at the hut and experience the peace and quiet far away from everyday life. The easiest route to the hut starts at the Mornen parking lot and is easily manageable even in changeable weather conditions.
The Murgseehütte is particularly popular among anglers. Fishing in the upper and middle Murg lakes is permitted during the hut’s operating hours through the end of September. Fishing licenses can be purchased on-site, making the hut an ideal starting point for a nature-filled fishing experience on the crystal-clear mountain lakes.
The combination of lodging, mountain lake fishing, and varied hiking trails makes the Murgseehütte a special destination for day trips and overnight stays in Heidiland.
