Fishing in Lake Murg
The Murg Lakes are among the most beautiful fishing areas in the region and captivate visitors with their idyllic setting in the high-alpine landscape of the Murg Valley. Surrounded by imposing mountain peaks and unspoiled nature, the Upper and Middle Murg Lakes offer ideal conditions for a special fishing experience.
Fishing is permitted during the Murgseehütte’s operating hours through September 30 at the latest. Fishing licenses are available directly at the Murgseehütte. Fishing is subject to the cantonal regulations of the Canton of St. Gallen. The central part of Lake Murg, including its inflows and outflows, is reserved exclusively for fly fishing.
