Chammseeli

The Chammseeli are remote mountain lakes on a high plateau, accessible from the Flumserberg. They offer peaceful surroundings and are ideal for hikes, which are often combined with an overnight stay in the Murgseehütte.

You have to earn your way to the Chammseeli. They are nestled on a high plateau that is best reached from Flumserberg. Surrounding these mountain lake jewels are many other small, nameless mountain lakes, which sparkle like little gems in the landscape when viewed from above. Due to their remoteness, you will often find yourself completely alone at the Chammseeli and have the breathtaking view all to yourself. Tip: The high-altitude hike from the Maschgenkamm via Hoch Camatsch, Erdisgulmen and Chammseeli is popular, followed by an overnight stay in the Murgseehütte. On the second day, you then descend through the enchanting Murg Valley to Murg on Lake Walen. If you want to do the tour in one day, you need to be in good physical condition and have sturdy feet.
