A private wine guide from Wine Tours Switzerland will pick you up in the afternoon at the Alten Torkel in Jenins or at an agreed-upon location in the region. During the drive through the villages of Bündner Herrschaft insights into the region’s history, the origins of Bündner Pinot Noir, and the unique terroir. In the vineyards, you’ll learn more about vineyard work. At a select winery, you’ll be introduced to the secrets of winemaking and visit a historic wine cellar. The guided tasting is accompanied by Graubünden dried meat specialties and cheese from the surrounding Alps. The tour concludes with dinner at the Alten Torkel in Jenins. There, you’ll enjoy a seasonal 4-course wine-pairing menu with carefully selected wines from the Bündner Herrschaft. Afterward, you’ll be taken back to your hotel or to a train station in the region.
