Experience an incomparable wine tasting in the middle of the vineyards of the Bündner Herrschaft. In a carefully packed rucksack, you will find three exquisite wines that you can enjoy during a hike through the picturesque vineyards. An audio guide will also provide you with exciting facts about the Bündner Herrschaft wine region, making your wine tasting a special experience.

Your adventure begins at the Stall 247 restaurant in Maienfeld. There you will be given a rucksack with three wines carefully selected by us. On your hike through the vineyards of the Bündner Herrschaft , there are plenty of opportunities to take a break on one of the many benches, taste the wine and learn interesting information about the wine region, viticulture and the winegrowers from the audio guide. As an accompaniment, you will also find delicious corn chips from Bündner Herrschaft region in your rucksack. The combination of wine tasting and hike offers you a special experience where you can enjoy not only the wines but also the region to the full.
You have a choice of three options:
Rucksack Classic

3 wines (3 x 5dl) from different wineries, including 1 white wine, 1 rosé, and 1 red wine
1 bottle of mineral water (5dl) per person
1 pack (150 g) of organic whole grain corn chips from Fläsch

Medium backpack

Deluxe backpack

Bündnerfleisch (60 g)
1 piece of alpine or mountain cheese (200 g)
Bündner hummus made from mountain field beans from the Albula Valley (100 g)
4 slices of bread

Each backpack is designed to serve up to 4 people. The number of backpacks you book depends entirely on how thirsty and hungry you are. Upon request, we offer high-quality non-alcoholic alternatives—including a white and/or rosé wine from the Bündner Herrschaft two different grape juice spritzers. The bottles can be purchased separately for an additional fee (wines at CHF 22.50 each, spritzers at CHF 5.00 each). Alternatively, the entire backpack can be booked as a non-alcoholic version for an additional fee of CHF 11.20. It is not possible to exchange individual bottles. Please contact our information desk in advance or check in at Stall 247.

Notes

You will need your cell phone to listen to the audio guides, headphones optional (please bring your own)
The wine tasting is for adults aged 16 and over
We recommend light trekking shoes for the hike
Own rucksack recommended for additional drinks and clothing
The rucksack will be returned to Stall 247
After your wine tasting, enjoy dinner or visit the wine route in the Stall 247 restaurant - please book in advance as the restaurant may also be booked for private parties.

Route description

Note: The audio guides are not tied to the suggested route. If you prefer a different route or would like to enjoy the wine and the audio guide in the same place, this is no problem. However, we recommend that you follow the order of the audio guides.
Arrival by public transport: We recommend traveling by public transport to Maienfeld train station. From there it is about a 15-minute walk to Stall 247. By car: There are a few parking spaces available at Stall 247. Paid parking available at Maienfeld train station.
Booking

Bookable from March to November (start and end months are weather dependent), from Wednesday to Sunday, as well as on Easter Monday, April 6, 2026, and Whit Monday, May 25, 2026.
A total of 7 backpacks are available. The contents of one backpack are intended for a maximum of 4 people.
Online and by phone: until shortly before the tour starts, provided backpacks are still available.
