In Maienfeld, you can find out how the girl from the mountains achieved this worldwide fame. On the guided tour through the original setting of the story, you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Heidi myth. Experience the world of 1880, when the bed was still made of straw and food was prepared in a cast-iron kettle over an open fire. The Heidi village shows how nature, tradition and joie de vivre inspired Johanna Spyri to write her world bestseller "Heidi".

The tour takes place in all weathers (please dress appropriately for the weather)

Heidi village, village store Paid parking is available below the Hotel Restaurant Heidihof, Bovelweg 16, 7304 Maienfeld. The walk from the parking lot to the meeting point in the Heidi village takes about 10 minutes - please allow enough time and be there in good time before the start of the tour.
