The framework story in Bad Ragaz

This unconventional festival combines literature and music in a way never seen before, featuring over 40 performers across seventeen unique venues in Bad Ragaz, the Tamina Gorge, and now also in Mels. Here, you can listen to artists such as Sarah Kuttner, Ralf König, Ewald Arenz, Stefanie Sargnagel, Faber, Beat Schlatter, Linard Bardil, Pedro Lenz, Ursus Wehrli, Nadja Sieger, and many, many others in a Chinese teahouse, the church, the Old Baths in Pfäfers, the Old Cinema in Mels, or the laundry room of the retirement home.
The audience is divided into small groups and guided from reading to reading every 20 minutes. The program also features numerous writers from the region, such as Armin Öhri, Gion Mathias Cavelty, Angelika Overath, Laura Vogt, Tom Zai, Jörg Rutz, and many more. Concerts in the auditorium of the Oberstufenzentrum at the end of the reading tours round out each day of the festival.
On Friday and Saturday, a visit to the festival can also be combined with a culinary prelude at the Altes Bad Pfäfers.
