A Swiss Ranger will take you on a half-day excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tectonic Arena Sardona. In the Calfeisen Valley, you will enter the realm of birds of prey. As we hike through the idyllic mountain landscape, our Swiss Ranger will provide you with interesting information about the lifestyle and role of bearded vultures and golden eagles in Alpine ecology. You will learn to locate the birds of prey and, with a bit of luck, observe them while the Swiss Ranger explains their characteristics and behavior. You may also spot other wild animals such as ibex and deer.
