The Batöni Waterfall Arena in Weisstannen offers a breathtaking backdrop featuring the 81-meter-high Piltschinabachfall, the 86-meter-high Sässbachfall, and the 45-meter-high Muttenbachfall. A unique site nestled in the heart of the Sardona Tectonic Arena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Batöni Waterfall Arena in the Weisstannental valley near Weisstannen is one of the most impressive natural attractions in Eastern Switzerland. Several mountain streams converge in a striking rocky arena. Particularly impressive are the 81-meter-high Piltschina Falls, the 86-meter-high Sässbach Falls, and the 45-meter-high Muttenbach Falls, which all plunge simultaneously down steep rock faces into the depths below.

The Batöni Waterfall Arena is located within the Sardona Tectonic Arena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Graue Hörner Federal Game Reserve. The area is a popular destination for hikers, nature lovers, and photographers. A scenic hiking trail winds its way through the pristine mountain landscape of the Weisstannental, lined with silver firs, to the arena with its impressive waterfalls. The round-trip hike takes about three hours (approx. 7 km, approx. 590 meters of elevation gain). This destination is accessible only during the summer months.

The area around the Batöni Waterfall Arena is a sensitive natural habitat and is located within a closed hunting zone. To ensure that such special natural habitats remain accessible, please respect nature and the wildlife that lives there.
