Zizers Castle
Zizers Castle, a baroque building surrounded by arcades and a park, is a landmark of the region. The octagonal tower with domed roof forms the center of the castle.
You have passed through the archway of Villa Maria and are standing in the cour d'honneur of the former residence of the Salis-Zizers family. The three-storey Baroque castle is surrounded on three sides by arcades with massive columns and a park on the valley side. The octagonal tower, covered by a dome, is the landmark of the Zizers region and forms the center of the castle.
