St. Luzisteig Military Museum
The St. Luzisteig Military Museum in Maienfeld offers insights into the history of the fortress, which dates back to the 15th century. A short film about the Luzisteig is shown alongside the exhibition.
For 40 years, the fortress on St. Luzisteig was home to the train recruit schools and troops. However, the turbulent history of the Luzisteig dates back to the 15th century.
Today, the old arsenal at the top of the St. Luzisteig pass (between Maienfeld and Balzers) is home to a military museum that is well worth a visit. Experience an exciting and important piece of contemporary history. In addition to the exhibition, visitors can watch a short film about the history of the St. Luzisteig.
