Molinaera Manor
The Molinära estate in Trimmis is a historic property that once belonged to Alt-Aspermont. It was given to Baron Walter IV von Vaz by Bishop Konrad III von Belmont in 1275. Today it is a cultural venue suitable for couples, families, groups and individuals.
Alt-Aspermont castle ruins, located to the south/180 meters higher than Molinära, former ancestral seat of the von Aspermont family (in the service of the diocese). Belongs to the Molinära estate until it moved to Jenins in the mid-13th century. In 1275, Bishop Konrad III of Belmont ceded Alt-Aspermont to Baron Walter IV of Vaz along with the farms of Molinära, Trimmis and Tomils. Reversion to the diocese of Chur in 1299.
