Wildlife watching Ibex, deer, chamois and co.

During the one-day ibex tour, you will get to know the realm of ibex and co. A Swiss Ranger will guide you through the secluded Weisstannental valley. He will provide you with exciting information about the life of wild animals and help you to spot them.

Ibex, deer, marmots, bearded vultures, chamois – these wild animals feel right at home in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Tectonic Arena Sardona. During the ibex tour, you will hike through the secluded Weisstannental valley, past 80-meter-high waterfalls. A Swiss Ranger will accompany you through the wild nature. He will tell you how the animals live and what is special about their habitat. He will take you to places where you can observe the animals in the wild particularly well. With a little luck, you will spot the majestic mountain dwellers that many of us only know from photos.

Difficulty level: medium (560 m altitude difference / approx. 4 km per trail)
Good, sturdy footwear

Booking

Bookable from April to October on selected dates
Tour available for groups of 4 adults or more (final decision made the day before at 12.00 noon)
Online: until 16.00 hrs, unless already canceled
By phone: last-minute requests are possible until the day before (opening hours), unless already canceled
Takes place in all weather conditions, unless the Swiss Ranger cancels the tour for safety reasons
Individual group tours for up to 40 people possible on request (up to 20 people CHF 500.00 for the whole group, 21-40 people CHF 900.00 for the whole group)
