From wool to dress
Date
August 30, 2026
Countless steps are required to turn wool into a dress. This is especially true if the dress is to be colored.
Various parts of plants such as leaves, petals, berries, roots, and sometimes tree bark can be used to dye wool. After the wool has been naturally dyed and boiled with the plant parts, it is left in the sun for several weeks. After rinsing, the wool can be carded, spun, twisted, knitted, and woven. Let us show you the steps and marvel at the beauty of naturally dyed wool.
