On this herb walk, you’ll have the chance to discover many medicinal plants and wild herbs. You’ll learn fascinating facts about the effects and identifying characteristics of these medicinal plants. You’ll also hear exciting stories about the biology and mythology of these plants.
Description: We’ll explore the diverse spring flora at the foot of the Churfirsten and along the unique northern shore of Lake Walen. The climate here is so mild that we can already enjoy a well-developed plant life by the end of April. A stroll right into the heart of spring and through a beautiful landscape between Lake Walen and the imposing Churfirsten.
Starting from Quinten , we’ll first hike a short distance toward Walenstadt, take a break for a snack at a beautiful beach, then turn back toward Au and follow the old school path to Quinten. There we’ll stop for coffee and a restroom break, and afterward we’ll explore the beautiful flower meadows to the west
