Color Release of the 10th Triennial

From 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the theme color for the 10th Bad Ragartz Festival will be announced and the first sculpture unveiled. In a relaxed atmosphere with free drinks, this will be a first opportunity for people to come together, share in the anticipation, and enjoy the festivities in the village center.

The event centers on the sculpture “Full Speed Ahead to the 2027 Triennial” by Stephan Schmidlin. The artist already made his mark with a sculpture at the kickoff in 2023; now he is building on that and once again setting the stage for the upcoming exhibition. The new exhibition color will also be unveiled and experienced for the first time on this day. This small event is intended to build anticipation for the anniversary year and demonstrate that Bad Ragartz is already on its way.

In 2027, the Swiss Sculpture Triennial will celebrate its tenth edition with the 10th Bad Ragaz Triennial, marking 27 years of art in public spaces in Bad Ragaz and Vaduz. With this anniversary edition, the Triennial reaches a special milestone in its history and underscores its mission to make art freely and easily accessible to everyone.

We’ll need to be patient until the official opening on May 1, 2027. As a side note, the Dorfart festival on August 1, 2026, offers another opportunity to experience art in the village and engage with it in a special way even before the Triennale.
