Guided tour of the Walenstadt local history museum

The museum welcomes voluntary contributions.
The local museum is dedicated to the history of Walenstadt. In addition to documents relating to the town, pictures of important personalities are also on display. The Sarganserland-Walensee transport route and the use of hydropower in Widenbach are vividly illustrated. Special exhibits include the original masks of the Walenstadt community carnival and the wooden masks of Berschis. At 10 a.m., guided tour of the local museum, with a tour of the town if interested.

Opening hours
Always on the first Saturday of the month, except in August.
If you're interested, a guided tour of the city is also available beforehand.
