The access trail begins in Bad Ragaz and runs via Badtobel to the Alte Bad Pfäfers and the Taminaschlucht (Tamina Gorge). There is a general ban on vehicles. Access is only possible by PostBus, horse-drawn carriage, or on foot. Cars, bicycles, and e-scooters are prohibited along the entire trail. If arriving by car: Parking is available in Bad Ragaz at the Zentrum and Tamina Therme/Casino parking garages, as well as at Park&Rail or the Allmend parking lot near the Bad Ragaz train station.

You can also reach the Alten Bad Pfäfers and the Taminaschlucht (Tamina Gorge) via various hiking trails that start in Pfäfers or Valens.

The gorge bus runs practically every hour from Bad Ragaz railroad station to Alter Bad Pfäfers in 15 minutes. Other stops are Bad Ragaz Post and Bad Ragaz Tobelbrücke.
