Tamina bridge

The Tamina Bridge connects the two villages of Pfäfers and Valens at the entrance to the Tamina Valley. The bridge’s arch spans the deep Taminaschlucht (Tamina Gorge) in an impressive manner; this is where the famous thermal water, with a temperature of 36.5°, springs forth. With a span of 260 meters and a length of 475 meters, the Tamina Bridge is the largest arch bridge in Switzerland and one of the largest of its kind in Europe.
