A special winter experience awaits you on the approximately 2 km long Schrina toboggan run on the Walenstadtberg. From Schrina Hochrugg (1289 m above sea level), the run takes you down to the Rehazentrum (967 m above sea level) with a magnificent panoramic view of Sarganserland.
The toboggan run is an insider tip for families, nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. The starting point is only accessible on foot. A short winter walk leads to the starting point at the cozy "Rugg-Beizli", ideal for a refreshment before or after the run.

How to get there
The best way to get to the Schrina toboggan run is by public transport, as there are only a few parking spaces available directly in front of the toboggan run in the Saniwald forest.
Important: The parking spaces at the Rehazentrum are reserved exclusively for patients, visitors and employees of the Rehazentrum. We therefore recommend that you travel comfortably by bus from Walenstadt train station, where there are plenty of parking spaces available.
