Area Ringelspitzkette

At 3247 meters above sea level, the Ringelspitz is the highest mountain in the Sardona Tectonic Arena. This is also where the area of the Glarus Thrust reaches its highest point at around 3100 m.a.s.l. The Glarus Thrust can be traced in the west along the Glaserhorn-Tristelhorn chain and in the Sardona Group, in the north in the Pizol area and in the south in the area of the Vorderrhein, which provides a good overview of its spatial course.
