Dogs are not allowed at the official beaches in Mols, Unterterzen, Murg, and Walenstadt during the swimming season (April–September). Outside of this period, dogs are usually allowed, but must be kept on a leash. Details can be found in the regulations of the municipalities of Quarten and Walenstadt.

Away from the official bathing areas, there are many natural spots around Lake Walen where dogs are allowed – as long as there are no signs prohibiting them. The unofficial dog beach in Weesen (behind Gäsi Beach) is particularly popular and can be reached via a footpath from the campsite. Please always observe local signage and keep your dog on a leash where required.
