Protactinium, the radioactive element with the designation Pa 91 in the periodic table, gives the punk band "Protactinium" its name. "Punk music against injustice" is the motto of the newcomer band Protactinium. At home in the genres of punk rock and skate punk, the four young punk musicians manage to combine distorted rock guitar sounds and harsh vocals with melodic choruses that stick in the mind. On stage, Protactinium impress with their passion and powerful entertainment. Their lyrics tell of their own deep feelings, of anger and incomprehension in the face of injustice. Their music should not only make the listener feel the energy and serve as a power bank, but also make them think. Deceased musical legends find a place in the lyrics and are given respect and honor. The song "Lost Friend" is dedicated to former drummer and founding member Pablo, who passed away in January 2019. The ballad gives you goosebumps and shows that these four wild men can also strike a softer note. It is important to them to compose their music themselves in order to share stories, thoughts and experiences from their own lives with you. Frontman and founding member Marco, sings and makes the guitar strings vibrate while drummer Dave lets the sticks whirl, bassist Gigi and guitarist Leander elicit hard rock sounds from their instruments. Their first album "Heart Shaped Guns" was created with a lot of passion and feeling. It sweeps you away into the hard, angry world of punk rock. Rowdy Silence (CH): Rousing riffs, authentic energy and plenty of heart and soul - that's Rowdy Silence, a very young rock band from Walenstadt that has been conquering the stages of Eastern Switzerland together since August 2023. Originally founded as a spontaneous project for a single gig, it quickly became clear: these five musicians belong together. Since then, Rowdy Silence have been playing live regularly - with a repertoire that ranges from legendary rock classics from the 80s, 90s and beyond to their first original songs. Their sound is raw, honest and full of youthful passion. The band combines musical skill with a keen sense for the audience - they are a real force to be reckoned with live. In 2025, the focus is increasingly on original compositions: The aim is to release their first singles by the end of the year.
