St. Anthony's parish church

St. Anthony's parish church
The parish church of St. Antonius in Wangs, built between 1880 and 1882, offers a peaceful atmosphere and positive energy. It replaces the St. Lucius Chapel and is a place of contemplation and well-being.
The parish church of St. Antonius, built between 1880 and 1882, is a quiet and friendly place of wonder. Pay attention to the atmosphere. The energies are uplifting and pleasant, they let us rest and come to ourselves. As the building is constructed almost in the proportion of the golden section, the sense of space, light and uplifting energies contribute to peace and well-being. Pay attention to the Madonna at the church exit. What do you sense here? St. Anthony's Church replaces St. Lucius Chapel, which was demolished in 1880 and stood to the west of the current church. Its oldest predecessor, the chapel of the Wanga farm mentioned in a document in 980, was donated to Einsiedeln Abbey by Emperor Otto II in that year. It is not surprising that we do not find a place of power in the newly built church of the 19th century. The impressive, fortified St. Lucius Chapel did not stand in exactly the same place, but most probably on a place of power. The old knowledge has not reached modern times, churches are no longer aligned according to energetic conditions. Finally, pay a visit to Father Künzle's grave, he moved many things that deserve our admiration.
