The Hotel Schloss Ragaz is nestled in a romantic castle park with mature trees on the outskirts of the picturesque spa town of Bad Ragaz. It borders on two golf courses and the public Tamina Therme thermal baths are also in the immediate vicinity. The hotel is the ideal starting point for a few days' vacation for those seeking peace and quiet, active people, golfers, connoisseurs and families.

Pamper board
Enjoy our varied 3-course menu including mineral water in the "Chutnee" restaurant during your stay. In the afternoon from 14:00 to 15:00 we invite you to a coffee or tea with a piece of cake - all for the price of CHF 55.00 per person per day. Please note that the pampering board can be booked up to 3 days before arrival and only for the entire stay.

"If you want to get a taste of the hotel atmosphere of earlier times, Hotel Schloss Ragaz is just the place for you. The hotel has certainly seen better days, the main criticism was our old room in the castle, which had been renovated. A pink bathroom, fittings and bathtub from the seventies and eighties, a banging bed that was a bit saggy, and some of the doors and built-in wardrobes were simply not up to date. The breakfast was also rather basic. The location of the hotel in a green park near a very nice golf course is very good."

"Your cancellation conditions are clearly formulated, so I can't complain. Nevertheless, I find the behavior petty, because I booked last Sunday and canceled on Monday due to illness (flu). "The somewhat outdated castle hotel has rooms in the castle building, some of which are furnished with period furniture. Some of the bathrooms in the castle rooms are very old and have not been renovated since the 1960s. There are several small new buildings in the park area, in which there are modern rooms, depending on the year of construction. The pool in the garden is large enough to swim in, but is not heated. The sauna area is modern and very well equipped for a 3* hotel. The breakfast buffet is simple, but the basic ingredients for a normal breakfast are available. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"If the hotel complex had a little more attention to detail it would be a huge improvement. For example, the orange electrical cables, the floor by the pool And a little tidier outside. The room service was excellent and very friendly."

"Since the weather was right, a vacation is usually a positive experience, which was the case. The food in the restaurant was very good. The cuisine is recommended. Parking is not optimal. Bike storage is inadequate. With such a large area, a bicycle garage should be offered, as the e-bikes are not cheap. The noise level in the morning is also very high. Mowing grass and the highway."

"The staff are very friendly and courteous. Great, the bed mugs every day :) Too bad that the bar is not always served in the evening. Suggestion: Please write at the bar that it is closed on Monday and Tuesday and that you can get drinks in the restaurant. Otherwise it is a beautifully maintained complex with wonderful old trees."

"The reception staff were super friendly and helpful. The residence was ok and the room was clean, but it was a pity that there were a lot of bushes and weeds around the balcony. I thought it was a shame that the two whirlpool tubs were out of order, as my aim was a spa break and the spa was closed at the time. However, the massage was great and the masseuse was very friendly. Cleanliness, garden and lawn in and around the oasis were great."

"We were delighted to stay at the Schlosshotel again, this time with a wellness package, and enjoyed it very much. It was a little difficult for us that, as on our first visit, it was not always clearly communicated for our understanding. For example, we were not told that the massage would take place in the relax oasis and not in the spa. Also, when we asked about the room type, we had assumed that it was the same size as last time. But we now know that we'd better ask again to avoid any misunderstandings."

"Only 1 night at a time... sometimes I book, sometimes my partner. We have booked all room categories and are always satisfied. At breakfast I missed a selection of white bread to slice up at the beginning (I always like to eat this at the hotel). Otherwise everything was as usual, clean, appropriately furnished for the price and the staff were polite. This time we booked in the residence and it was more difficult to find the room straight away, as room 504 was on the 1st floor but 502 is on the first floor, you walk past the 1st staircase the first time, the same happened to another couple who had 505 and also searched in vain on the first floor. Unfortunately a mosquito followed us around in the morning, an anti-mosquito plug might be useful."
