House of Sprecher (Brüggerhaus) / Sprecherhaus
The Sprecherhaus in Maienfeld embraces the Städliplatz with its wings. It impresses with a sundial from 1721 and furnishings of the highest artistic quality. Former residence of Theophil Sprecher von Bernegg.
The rear of the house with its obtuse-angled wings embraces Städliplatz, originally with arcades facing the square. Front of the house to the SE with front garden in the backfilled moat. Sundial 1721, with inter-period furnishings of the highest artistic and craftsmanship quality. Residence of the Chief of Staff Theophil Sprecher v. Bernegg (1850-1927).
