House Amstein
Amstein House in Malans impresses with its ashlar imitation painting and hipped roof. It is a historic manor house that once belonged to the Boner trading family in the 18th century.
The imitation ashlar painting on the façade, the first row of windows high above the alleyway and the hipped roof above the massive body show that this is a manor house. Above the ornamental balcony, a gable is harmoniously enthroned, reminiscent of local building culture. But Wildmannli on the west façade teaches you that you were at home in the Zehngerichtebund.
